Client

Univé is a Dutch cooperative insurance company offering a range of insurance services, including health, home, car, and travel coverage. Founded in 1794 to protect farmers from fires, Univé now operates from 8 regional cooperatives. It is a mutual insurer, where 1.8 million of its policyholders are also its members.

Univé is known for its transparency, community involvement, and support in helping members to live a safe and healthy life. Together with their members, they want to prevent damage and limit risks. The principle of the cooperative is solidarity: together we can handle anything.


Challenge

The Univé SIU consists of 19 people. It is the central unit for all Univé cooperatives. They work on timely and efficiently resolving suspicious cases that come in from their underwriting and claims departments. They also investigate consumer fraud referrals, internal fraud alerts and need to process the pre-employment screenings.

Because the workload can be quite overwhelming at times, they were looking for a central case management solution, especially designed to cater the needs of the SIU.

The Univé SIU department closed more than 700 cases in the first 6 months of 2024. Over the past few years the Univé SIU managed to close 40.000 cases.
