”Everyone is talking about insurtech, but nobody is really doing it”.
”Hola, we’re in the Silicon Valley of Latin America, and we’re visiting Osigu an insurtech company that changes the way healthcare insurance products are brought to the consumer. We’re going to talk with them about the insurtech landscape in Latin America.
Insurtech is a company that is totally based on technology for insurance. Trying to make an ecosystem and a perfect product for the consumers and a technology product.
Future of insurtech
But I believe the insurtech market in Central America is going to start growing and a lot of technology companies will want to go into insurance because a lot of business can be done with the insurance companies.
They need a lot of help from us, the technologies, the millennials so I think we can work together with the insurance companies to become more technified and have better products.
Last week we were in El Salvador, and everyone was talking about insurtech, but nobody is really doing it. We believe that in the next couple of years where insurance companies got to start trusting insurtechs we’ll probably see more and more, they’ll focus on different types of processes.
Let’s say claims, sales, costumer service we can have a better and better service for insurance companies. It’s scary for insurance companies to change the process they’ve been doing for a lot of years, but if they trust the company you work with they’re probably going to take that push and that leap towards technology.”
