Marc Mulder, CCO at FRISS, is worried about the low level of trust customers have in insurance companies. How can we change this?
What can we do to reinstate trust in insurance?
« This is an actual headline of a recent magazine. And this is what really bothers us at FRISS.
The reason why is, we think insurance is a beautiful thing. Insurance for example enables me to go out snowboarding with my family, go beautiful sailing with my wife, drive a car…And from a business point of view it has enabled FRISS to grow into 38 different countries. We’ve been able to do that only because we are well insured. So, insurance is actually something that supports economic growth.
Why then this low trust level? What can we do to change it?
Maybe you recognize this. You are at a birthday party, and somebody walks up to you and asks you “what do you do for a living?” And you almost feel uncomfortable explaining you work in insurance. This is what we would like to change.
We’ve learned that 97% of all customers are good customers. Now let’s give them the service they deserve.
Join us on our expedition, and let’s make sure that the next time we read this magazine, it says “Trust in insurance has never been higher”. »
