Insurance is boring, ‘they’ say. We politely disagree. Since the moment insurance was invented, it started pushing us forward. Therefore we built an international campaign to spread that thought, and make people feel proud again about insurance. Because we believe: insurance is a beautiful thing.

Most incredible things in life can only be enabled thanks to insurance. Therefore we believe insurance really is a beautiful thing. And the world should know that too.”
Focus of the campaign is a vibrant hand-drawn animated video, which opens with the statement ‘insurance is boring’ but then quickly starts to prove the opposite. The viewer follows the camera through a series of human achievements from the past, such as industrialization, the first climbing of Mount Everest and the famous NASA moon landing. Legendary events that clearly would not have been executed without the protection of a good insurance policy. After the animation turns full color in the eighties, it jumps to the present and continues to stress ordinary amazing things enabled by insurance today.
Yoram Elzas, responsible for the campaign Insurance is a beautiful thing, says this perspective is unique. “We are putting the emotion back into insurance. Think of your personal life. Without the right insurance policies, I would never be able to travel around the world, drive a car or buy my own house. And companies would not be able to hire staff, do business, expand. Insurance allows us to take risks. Carriers should be proud of that.”
