The Team

We are expanding our business and our team. We want to make sure our business develops in the right direction, and we can work on a global level. We need more tech-power in our DevOps team. Currently, we are looking for a Data Engineer. You will be part of a small and eager team, they make things happen at FRISS!

Mission for our Data Engineer

Help FRISS to become more data driven and understand what is needed to empower our data scientists. You make sure that the data we process, is available for our analytical software products. You are going to build the data structures on which we can further develop our data services, and you help our data software developers to bring our data services to production. You are also a promoter for a data-driven culture based on your knowledge, experience and persuasiveness.

You’ve build a solid data pipeline, so our analytical tools run smoothly. Together with the business, you have set up clear guidelines for our data suppliers and customers, so the available raw data can be easily processed by us. You’ve made a great contribution to become a more data driven organization. You have been working successfully and in close collaboration with data scientists and data software developers.

Our job in more detail

  • Develop methods for data handling for customer projects and product development
  • Ensure a secure and timely flow of data within, to and from the organization.
  •  Build a data pipeline that is robust and reliable
  • Check data for errors, inconsistencies, usability, and relevance
  • Maintain the integrity of data that contains Personally Identifiable Information
  • Facilitate requests for the transfer, movement and/or transformation of data

Who are you? 

You can scan large volumes of data in a brief time frame, and you have solid understanding of databases, data procedures, and data administration. You possess excellent analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, this is proven by a degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or Business Intelligence.

Technical skills: you have experience in Python & R, you have worked with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Neo4J. 

Constructive communication skills: you can ask questions and give advice in an effective way.

Structured and focused: you can help FRISS create more structure without losing our flexibility.

Operational & tactical: you are hands-on and can come up with ways to improve our processes.

In your career, you are at the second or third career-step: you are eager to learn, and in your luggage, you carry professional knowledge and skills.

Most of all

You love working with data and have a strong track record creating solid data pipelines for analytical software tools.

Filling in the contact form or sending an e-mail

If you fill in the contact form on our website or send us an e-mail, we will only use the (personal) data you provide for the purpose or purposes for which you filled in the contact form or sent the e-mail.

Download form

If you download files on our website (such as e-books, whitepapers or reports), we will use the (personal) data you provide for one or more of the following purposes:

You can view your data that is processed by FRISS at any time and free of charge and, if you so wish, modify this data or have it deleted. You can also object to receiving information about products, services or content of FRISS.
